Actor and comedian Rob Schneider has been vocal speaking out against COVID-19 mandates recently and went viral with a tweet that he posted yesterday.
In the tweet, Schneider said, “Many Americans are waking up from their slumber and discovering the hangover of tyranny in the guise of safety.”

Schneider has thus far been able to remain relatively unscathed from his COVID-19 mandate criticisms, unlike many who have been vocal.
Last year, Schneider had a stand-up comedy routine released in a Netflix special called, “Rob Schneider: Asian Momma, Mexican Kids.”
Recently, Schneider performed in San Antonio and the San Antonio Current tried to cancel him ahead of the show, which he ended up dedicating to Norm MacDonald.
The publication claimed that Schneider has made a career out of “playing dumbasses” and that “Unfortunately, he also fills that role in real life, too.”
In addition, they criticized Schneider for going on Twitter to “spread disinformation about the COVID-19 vaccine by calling it “unapproved experimental gene therapy” and for another tweet where he said that “masking kids during school akin to ‘child abuse.'”
On Tuesday, Scheider also said in a tweet, “The shaming and demonizing of Americans by fellow Americans must stop. God bless the Republic.”

God bless the Republic.
Prior to that, Schneider tweeted the word “Freedom” 5 times in succession.

A July article from Distractify pointed out that Schneider isn’t necessarily a fan of former President Donald Trump and described himself as a “classical 1970s liberal,” which he said translates to being a bit more on the conservative side in today’s politics.
