Anti-Gun Activist David Hogg Resigns From Anti-Lindell Pillow Company Without Ever Selling a Pillow

At the beginning of February, anti-gun activist David Hogg was so triggered by Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, that he announced that he would be forming a rival pillow company.

The pillow company, eventually called Good Pillow, took a number of orders from customers as Hogg vowed to make it a progressive company.

We reported last month that the company’s future appeared to be on the rocks as there was no signs of further life from its Twitter account and no press releases with updates.

Yesterday, Hogg confirmed that he was no longer part of the business venture in a several part tweet.

“Effective immediately, I have resigned and released all shares, any ownership and any control of Good Pillow LLC. I want to thank Will [LeGate] for his partnership and wish him absolutely nothing but success with the future of Good Pillow,” Hogg said in one of the tweets.

Incredibly, many of his supporters replied with tweets of support. One twitter user said, “David, you are very wise for your age. You have made an excellent decision. There will be many opportunities in your future. I have no doubt that you can accomplish any and all of your goals. We believe in you.”

Another Twitter user said, “I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot more of you in the future and I’m looking forward to it. I think we all are. You are a very brave, powerful voice that we need in this country. Good luck with your studies. I don’t think you’re going to need luck. You’ve got this!!”

Several, however, replied by taking Hogg to task over his decision.

One user, Dr. Roy Acuff provided a popular summary. “Quick summary. David Hogg announced he was starting a pillow company with an internet fellow because they hate another guy who sells pillows (successfully). Now David is backing out because he’s not a pillow guy. Stay tuned, he’s got a great idea for sustainable Lawn Jarts,” Acuff said.
