About a year ago, we were one of the first online outlets to report that Fox News had fired Ed Henry for claims of possible sexual misconduct. Now, it appears Ed Henry is claiming bias against Conservatives from Fox News, despite the fact that he had apparently turned on former President Trump and started skewing more to the left on his own reporting before ultimately having to leave his job at Fox News.
Todd Starnes reported on the story. Starnes used to be with Fox News radio but was allegedly fired for being too hard on Democrats. He now has his own show and news site. Starnes reported in part:
The top executive at Fox News banned one of her star reporters from asking questions about the NFL’s National Anthem controversy out of fear it would blow a multi-billion dollar deal to air football games that was being negotiated, a bombshell lawsuit charges.
Henry sued Fox News and Chief Executive Officer Suzanne Scott in part, claiming that Scott was tired of “carrying water for Donald Trump”.
Henry was sued by Fox producer Jennifer Eckhart back in July of 2020, in which it was alleged that he raped her. This is what lead to his firing.

According to Henry’s suit, Fox Vice President Lauren Petterson told Henry that Scott was angling for a new position elsewhere in Rupert Murdoch’s media empire because “she was tired of the pressure at Fox News.’’
“Ms. Petterson said Ms. Scott was willing to do anything to keep the Murdochs happy, and for that reason she was trying to distance herself from the many controversies surrounding Fox News,’’ the suit states.
Petterson confided to Henry that as a result, Fox News’ producers acting at Scott’s direction “were suddenly and sharply downplaying any stories about athletes kneeling for the National Anthem, even though Fox News had previously covered these stories relentlessly,’’ according the suit.

Fox News reporter Ed Henry has met the end of the road. Henry was long loved by Fox viewers by many years and known for his brash style when asking questions to former President Barack Obama during that administration.
More recently he started to lose some of his popularity among Trump supporters as he started turning a little more left. Despite that, he was a generally kind and liked man. Sadly, it is being reported that someone is accusing him of sexual misconduct and he has been fired.
CNN released a quote from a Fox internal memo: “On Thursday, June 25, we received a complaint about Ed Henry from a former employee’s attorney involving willful sexual misconduct in the workplace years ago,” “Ed was suspended the same day and removed from his on-air responsibilities pending investigation,” they said. “Based on investigative findings, Ed has been terminated.”
An outside law firm has been brought in to investigate the claims. This is a breaking and developing story and more details are sure to come of this unexpected twist.
Time will tell what happens with Henry’s suit against Fox News and if it holds water, with this bizarre story.
