“The Squad” member and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) cast the final vote needed to re-elect Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) as Speaker of the House.

AOC retweeted a picture earlier from newly-elected Congresswoman Cori Bush (MO) where Bush said “Squad up.”
The picture included the members of the original “squad” as well as Bush and newly-elected Congressman Jamaal Bowman (NY).
It appears that they are two new members to “The Squad” and AOC said of the picture, “Let’s go!”

Bloomberg reporter Erik Wasson quoted AOC as having said of the vote, “In a time when the Republican Party is attempting an electoral coup and trying to overturn the results of our election, this is not just about being united as a party. It’s about being united as people who have basic respect for the rule of law.”
