AOC Decries GOP ‘White Supremacist’ Members of Congress While Complaining About the Amount of ‘White Men’ Federal Judges That the GOP Got Confirmed While Trump Was President

While Democrats are up in arms about what U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) recently said (and has now sadly apologized for) about U.S. House Rep Ilhan Omar (D-MN), U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was able to make an inflammatory tweet last Friday to little fanfare.

It is hard to see the difference between what Ocasio-Cortez said in her tweet and what Boebert said at an event recently in terms of creating potential “security risks” for their targets, which is one of the core complaints about what Boebert said.

Ocasio-Cortez quote tweeted a report that announced, “At least three House Republicans have already said they want Kyle Rittenhouse to be their intern.”

“This comes just one day after @GOPLeader announced his intent to reward white supremacist members of Congress who incite violence,” Ocasio-Cortez declared.

Clearly, Ocasio-Cortez was referring to something she had commented on just the day before to CNN, where she suggested that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy should shout a plan to put U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (D-GA) and U.S. House Rep Paul Gosar (R-AZ) back on committees in a GOP majority “from the rooftops.”

Ocasio-Cortez was therefore calling both Greene and Gosar “white supremacist” members of Congress, taking things a step further than she did to CNN.

In the second part of the tweet she made last Friday, Ocasio Cortez added, “Same party who just appointed 200+ judges, many unqualified, to federal courts- 70% of whom were white men. And that’s just scratching the surface.”

It seems outrageous that Ocasio-Cortez believes she can get away with complaining about too many “white men” getting appointed to federal judgeships, but the GOP needs to step up and hold her accountable, in our opinion.
