AOC Rages Against ‘Fascists’ After Brazil Unrest, Demands Jair Bolsonaro Be Removed From the U.S.

After raging against “fascists,” U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) yesterday demanded that Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro be removed from the United States.

In a quote tweet, Ocasio-Cortez claimed, “Nearly 2 years to the day the US Capitol was attacked by fascists, we see fascist movements abroad attempt to do the same in Brazil.”

“We must stand in solidarity with @LulaOficial’s democratically elected government,” Ocasio-Cortez insisted.

Ocasio-Cortez concluded by demanding that “The US must cease granting refuge to Bolsonaro in Florida.”

The original tweet that Ocasio-Cortez used was from an anti-imperialist feminist journalist, Nathália Urban, who had shared a video from the unrest.

“Bolsonarista terrorists broke down the police barrier and invaded the Congress ramp and threatened to occupy the chamber and the Senate,” Urban declared.

Urban reported, “The Minister of Justice @FlavioDino announced that he is allowing the use of all federal forces against them.”

Bolsonaro traveled to Florida the day before he was set to leave office at the end of December and hasn’t returned yet to Brasil.

Like former President Donald Trump did on Jan. 6, Bolsonaro condemned the demonstrations for exceeding the rule of law in a tweet.

A recent column published in The Palm Beach Post suggested that perhaps Russian President Vladimir Putin might try to relocate to Florida next.

“But we’ve already got enough deposed wannabe dictators for one state,” the columnist asserted.
