Barack Obama Hopes that ‘The President and First Lady’ Make a Speedy Recovery Despite ‘Big Political Battle’

President Trump and Melania are currently fighting Covid-19, and Donald in particular is being watched closely at Walter Reed Hospital. He recently tweeted out that he is ok, ‘he thinks’. One might assume he is feeling ok, but that the doctors and advisors are telling him to prepare for anything out of an abundance of caution.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama have been strangely friendly, in an odd PR twist that may have been hard to predict. It’s hard to tell just how genuine they are though, or if they are truly trying to do the right thing after all the nasty words and attempts to hurt President Trump politically that have been hurled in recent years. It is truly up to the American people whether or not they feel the words are genuine.

Many leftists on Twitter have been rejoicing and some even hoping that President Trump succumbs to Covid-19, dashing Republican’s hopes for the re-election in November and destroying the Trump family. Many others surely hope for the opposite.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden have yet to condemn their multitudes of supporters for wishing the worst though, despite the push to get President Trump to repeatedly condemn things such as ‘White Supremacy” and even a group called the Proud Boys in recent days, which President Trump reluctantly did, disappointing many in his base.

“Michelle and I hope that the President, First Lady, and all those affected by the coronavirus around the country are getting the care they need and are on the path to a speedy recovery.” Obama tweeted. He wanted to make sure his Trump-hating supporters didn’t get the wrong idea of course (in our view) so context was added:

“Obviously, we’re in the midst of a big political battle right now, and while there’s a lot at stake, let’s remember that we’re all Americans. We’re all human beings. And we want everyone to be healthy, no matter our party.”

Again, it is up to the American public to decide what they think in the end and regardless of which party you support it’s important to remember in all this that the election is still on for November 3rd.
