Biden DOJ Makes Move, Arrests and Charges Oath Keeper Leader With Seditious Conspiracy and Other Charges Relating to Jan. 6

The Biden DOJ made their move today, arresting and charging Oath Keeper leader Stewart Rhodes with seditious conspiracy and other charges relating to Jan. 6.

In a release, the DOJ claimed, “The seditious conspiracy indictment alleges that, following the Nov. 3, 2020, presidential election, Rhodes conspired with his co-defendants and others to oppose by force the execution of the laws governing the transfer of presidential power by Jan. 20, 2021.”

Journalist Glenn Greenwald said of the move, “More than a year after 1/6 and with growing political pressure from Democrats, the Biden DOJ filed its first sedition charges — against Oath Keeper Stewart Rhodes.”

“Sedition charges are very rare and hard: will be interesting to see if they can convict,” Greenwald noted.

Blaze TV’s Elijah Schaffer questioned the timing and said, “Nothing happens with Ray Epps and Steward Rhodes for over a year in regards to Jan 6th.”

“Then within 48 hours, Ray testifies he’s not a fed because the media agrees he’s not. Then Rhodes is arrested,” Schaffer explained.

Schaffer added, “They think we don’t see how much of a sham this is.”

Anti-Trumper Chip Franklin celebrated the news and declared, “BOOM! Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes has been ARRESTED and CHARGED for January 6 seditious conspiracy.”

“How do you feel?” Franklin asked.

Democratic strategist Aaron Parnas also applauded the news and said, “BIG: DOJ has just charged the leader of the Oath Keepers, along with several other individuals with seditious conspiracy.”

“Republicans can no longer claim that no one has been charged with insurrection or sedition,” Parnas asserted.
