Biden Has Picked SCOTUS Nominee And Will Announce Decision Before Monday, Possibly Tomorrow Afternoon According to CNN

According to CNN, Joe Biden has picked the Supreme Court nominee to replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer.

The selection is expected to be the first black woman nominee as he has promised and Biden is reportedly going to make the announcement before Monday, possibly tomorrow afternoon.

It was also reported that Kamala Harris postponed a trip to Louisiana scheduled tomorrow which also raised speculation that an announcement was forthcoming.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki previously said there’s no circumstance where Biden would hold his Supreme Court announcement and that it will still happen before the end of February.

CNN also noted that if he made the announcement tomorrow, it would mark two years to the day when Biden made his initial pledge to choose the first black female justice during a 2020 primary debate in South Carolina.

Twitter user Richard Hanania pointed out about the news, “I guess we’ve found the answer to how long Ukraine would hold the attention of Americans.”

In a recent op-ed for the Washington Examiner, Tom Fitton said of Biden’s decision to narrow the search to black females only, “The Left would like you to believe that only ‘white males’ are harmed by this discrimination.”

“But Biden is also barring black males, white females, Hispanic females, Asian males, etc. from his race and sex quota scheme,” Fitton explained.
