Biden Tells CNN’s Anderson Cooper: ‘Everybody Knows I Like Kids Better Than People’

It was recently announced that President Biden was going to participate in a CNN town hall in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, moderated by CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

In the introductions, Biden was going back and forth with Cooper and saying hi to the audience as well.

Biden told Cooper, “Good to be back man.” Cooper replied, “Nice to see you, sir.”

Biden then brought up Cooper’s son who was born last year and said, “And you know you enjoy being home with the baby more, I don’t want to hear it.”

“I do, yes, he’s nine and a half months, so I’m very happy” Cooper responded.

Biden then attempted to make a joke that sent his supporters scrambling: “Everybody knows I like kids better than people.”

“I saw a picture of you with your grandson recently,” Cooper added, before quickly changing the subject.

Liberal Twitter user “PatriotTakes” said of the joke, “They’re going to hang on this one statement.”

Anti-Trump Twitter user “JustGoDrumpf3” worried, “Awe man, the Qrazies are going to go nuts with that one. Damn it, Joe.”

A self-described Neurodivergent librarian “Megara” suggested, “The right are going to lose their minds.”
