Former U.S. House Rep Denver Riggleman (R-VA) has been showing his cards in full lately, despite the fact that many outlets including ours, predicted his true nature a long time before more Conservative Bob Good snatched his seat away last year.
In his most recent move, Denver continues to pander to left-leaning CNN’s Jake Tapper, possibly to try to get more air time on the network and maintain some type of public image after disgracefully losing his House seat in Virginia’s red fifth Congressional District.
While many mainstream outlets run interference (in our view) for Joe Biden, explaining away his mistakes and gaffes instead of fact-checking them like they might have done for former President Trump, Denver is helping prop of the narrative. This is after Riggleman turned on former President Donald Trump by bashing him, criticizing him, and blaming him for many things, right after losing the seat Trump endorsed him for in Virginia, and going back to civilian life.
Riggleman, who arguably lost his seat over the officiating and politicizing of a gay wedding, which offended his deeply conservative base, has practically gone full Democrat in our view, without officially announcing it. Although he still criticizes Democrats like U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) for their fiscal policies, socially he seems to be on the same side as the left.
Recently we reported on a “gaffe” of sorts by President Biden where he claimed he likes “kids better than people”. Many people seized on the comment with criticism, including the extremely popular former White House Press Secretary for President Trump, Kayleigh McEnany. Jake Tapper, who often seems to work in tandem with Riggleman on Twitter to tarnish and label right-wing activists as extremists in any way possible, tweeted out a bizarre theory about McEnany.
After Kayleigh fairly critiqued Biden by saying:
“Signing off with a final notable quote from Joe Biden during his town hall this evening: “Everyone knows I love kids better than people.”, Tapper took it upon himself to speculate with an alleged “source”:
“From a former WH colleague of McEnany’s: “This is 100% meant to stir up the qanon crowd. Awful.””

Immediately Riggleman jumped in with radical sounding rhetoric that almost comes off as potentially threatening, saying he’s in a “fighting mood” against “disinformation super-spreaders” like Kayleigh.
“This suggests a profound lack of awareness, lack of IQ or lack of soul McEnany will deflect, say that she’s commenting on Biden not knowing that “kids are people” or some such tripe I’m in a fighting mood against disinformation super-spreaders like Kayleigh. I despise them”

For someone who has a tarnished reputation himself with a history of strange comments about horses and a weird bigfoot fetish, you think he’d be more careful than to use radical words like “fighting”. This rings especially true considering the fact that Democrats and ‘RINOs’ like Riggleman have accused former President Trump and Rudy Giuliani of incitement of violence for using words like “fight”, even when Trump has simultaneously said he only supports peaceful rallies and protests many times.
Many left-wing pundits and Trump-hating Republicans pick and choose words to use for their liking depending on who said them and it’s getting easier and easier to spot the bias. Clearly, Denver never supported Trump and only used him for an endorsement, and did not stand for Trump’s America First agenda.
Supporters of Trump can only hope that he gets better at spotting those like Riggleman in the future if he ever runs again for president or any other office. Meanwhile, Kayleigh has responded to Jake Tapper to clarify what she meant. She says Tapper’s “source” should put “her” name on the record:
“I tweeted this revealing, bizarre quote from Joe Biden that underscores his horrific pro-choice, anti-child policies that have dehumanized life (Mexico City policy etc.) cc: @jaketapper your source should put her name on the record if she claims to know the intent of my tweets”
