It has been reported that former President Bill Clinton is the latest Democrat to launch a podcast, as former First Lady Michelle Obama has already launched one, and his wife and former First Lady Hillary Clinton has one still in the planning stage after announcing one in February.
Craig Minassian, chief communications and marketing officer for the Clinton Foundation, said in the announcement that “The show will be built on his gift for storytelling.”
Many have already mocked that quote, with one Twitter user, Maggie Leber, asking, “Wasn’t he impeached for his “gift for storytelling”? In 1998, the House of Representatives impeached him for lying under oath to a federal grand jury and obstructing justice.

The podcast will launch with iHeart Media in early 2021. Minassian said that “the podcast is inspired by President Clinton’s belief that the purpose of his work in public service is to give people the opportunity to live their best life story.”
Minassian continued also said that the show will be built on “his ability to explain complex issues in a relatable way and showcase his wide range of interests and well-known intellectual curiosity through conversations about the ideas and events that continue to shape his work and our world.”
Clinton spoke at the Democratic National Convention and criticized President Trump for his handling of the Coronavirus and claimed that Joe Biden as Vice President for Barack Obama was an integral part of the economic recovery after 2009.
