Many feared this day. Others did not because they have been vaccinated. Some, even with vaccines, are afraid for others who don’t have a vaccine for whatever reason. We assume that some, are indeed happy about this news. It was told to many United States citizens that there would not be vaccine passports.
Well, New York City Mayor de Blasio called it something different so if the name is what worried you then you have nothing to worry about! But seriously, this is definitely happening. We don’t think it will happen everywhere, but we do think it will happen in other areas, as many big cities and states follow the lead of New York.
It is being announced that New York City’s Democrat Mayor has announced a “first-in-the-nation” requirement for employees and customers of indoor dining establishments, fitness facilities, and entertainment facilities to have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
We’re not sure if there will be any exemptions. Some have been told to hold off on the vaccine for medical reasons, such as the drummer of The Offspring, who was told he can’t tour with the band now, as we reported it yesterday. This is being called the “key to NYC pass”. De Blasio tried to sugar coat it:
“When you hear those words, I want you to imagine that notion that because someone’s vaccinated, they can do all the amazing things that are available in this city.”

Time will tell who else takes this up. Many red states have banned this practice, but some have not, and will not receive backlash as this is now a reality we are facing in the world and U.S.
