Bob Good Attempts to Rally Republicans to Give Joe Biden the ‘Option’ to Secure the Border or Face Impeachment in the House

With Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) elected Speaker, U.S. House Rep Bob Good (R-VA) didn’t waste any time putting pressure on Joe Biden to reverse course on his presidency or face impeachment in the House.

Good threw down the gauntlet as he attempted to rally Republicans to tell Biden that if he didn’t secure the border, he would face impeachment in the House.

In a tweet, Good declared, “Republicans need to give President Biden his options: A) Secure the border, or B) Face impeachment in the House.”

“Option C) Helping hundreds of thousands of illegals invade every month,” Good noted, “HAS BEEN CANCELED.”

Good has been to the border several times since Biden took office and in July 2021, he declared that the Biden Administration has “no operational control” of the southern border.

That announcement came after a visit where he and a number of other Republicans saw illegal immigrants streaming into the country and being put on flights to other states.

In an interview at the time with Fox News, Good said, “We have no operational control, no legal control, no law enforcement control of our border. We are not enforcing our laws, we are not preventing people. This is willful and intentional on the part of this administration to facilitate the illegal entry into our country of tens of thousands, 180,000 in [the] month of May…some 700,000 this year, of the ones we’ve apprehended.”

Things have gotten worse at the border since then and Biden is set for a visit today to El Paso, Texas where a state of emergency has been declared by the Democrat Mayor.

It will be the first time that Biden has visited the border and comes as House Republicans are now set to take control of the House tomorrow.
