Boxing legend and African American George Foreman is speaking out. Any sports or Hollywood celebrity, no matter how old or what party affiliation they may feel closer to, is likely to have many liberal friends. That is because liberals often get favorable treatment in our view as it comes to celebrities, and therefore often rise to the top faster.
So if one is a conservative celebrity, they will have to balance their work-life and social life with their personal view. Many celebrities love America, and are conservative patriots, but are afraid to show it. We have reported on many of them before, such as legendary actor Jon Voight, Kirstie Alley, and NFL star Brett Favre, among many others.
Many times when a celebrity comes out as conservative, Republican, right-wing, or even moderate lately, they received a lot of pushback from fans and fellow celebrities to be more hip, modern, and liberal. Boxing legend and George Foreman grill salesman George Foreman is sick of it. On this year’s Independence Day, he tweeted out his love for America, and a short bit about how it has been for him for the majority of his life.
“For about 54 years, people have ask [sic] me not to keep saying “I love America” Well I do and I’m not ashamed. Don’t leave it; Love it. Happy 4th of July.”

It’s probably not easy for someone like George to say something that simple, and that is truly sad. Many people who voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020 have also felt silenced. Some are afraid they may lose their friends, family members, or job, simply for having a Trump bumper sticker or even waving an American flag.
In today’s America, it’s considered country culture to love your country. We can only hope that changes soon, but it’s hard to say if that’s possible.
