According to a few articles and buzz on social media, within less than 24 hours of a mass shooting at an El Paso Texas Wal-Mart, there has been another shooting in the Oregon District of Dayton, Ohio. See the three-part video series shown in two pairs of tweets where Twitter user Chad Baker documents some of the events unfolding at the scene.
This appears to have happened around 2:00 AM this morning approximately and events are still unfolding. Anticipate many more details to be available from the media throughout the day. Huffington Post also has coverage here.

According to the voice in the Twitter videos above, there were “about 50 shots” that went off, and 12 or 13 dead bodies. This is unconfirmed information.
“Shots fired! Shots fired!” an officer shouts in archived scanner audio, which you can listen to here. The dispatcher indicates the shooting occurred in the Oregon District. At one point, an officer said on the scanner that it looked like 9 to 10 people were shot. That’s preliminary information because the situation was unfolding quickly.
“We got shots fired. We got multiple people down. We need multiple medics…We need to shut the whole street down….We think there’s one shooter. He’s down. We’re looking for a second shooter,” says an officer in the audio. (There are often incorrect reports of multiple shooters in the early moments of active shooter incidents, and it was clear that officers were trying to get a handle on a chaotic situation with possibly conflicting early information on that point.)
Another story can be seen here from ‘Dayton Daily News’ that claims 10 people may be dead.
This was reported to have taken place at a ‘Ned Peppers‘ bar. According to the verified Twitter user Daniel Williams, there were reports of an AR-15 being used.

In a public Facebook post from a person named James Williams: “Sad people are not right. I’m safe. Happened right in front of the patio where I was sitting in front of Neds. The guy in front of Ned Peppers’ door is the active shooter.
“He tried to go into the bar but did not make it through the door. Someone took the gun from him and he got shot and is dead.

This comes while many Democrats have already politicized the shooting from yesterday, something Texas Governor Greg Abbott has asked people not to do.
Hopefully, people are able to sort this one out in Ohio before the next round of Democrat outrage begins towards the anti-gun narrative so the police can investigate and victim’s families can mourn their losses.
