January 9th marked the one-year anniversary of legendary actor and comedian Bob Saget’s unexpected passing.
Saget’s former co-star and friend Candace Cameron Bure posted a touching tribute to him on Instagram on Monday.
Bure, who played D.J. Tanner, one of Saget’s characters, Danny Tanner, daughters in Full House, shared three personal pictures of the two together over the years.
“I stayed up for hours watching videos of Bob on my phone. Videos I couldn’t watch a year ago because it hurt too much. Last night they made me laugh,” Bure explained along with a laughing face emoji.
Bure continued, “They comforted me and warmed my heart. I watched them over and over and laughed so hard. “
“I miss him so much and I’m grateful he was my friend for so many years. I love you, Bob,” Bure gushed along with a heart emoji.
Bure concluded with an asterisk where she added, “now go hug a friend like Bob would.”
The saga of what happened to Saget dragged on for over a month after his death, however, some details of how he died in his Orlando, Florida hotel room are still unknown.
Authorities have confirmed, though, that there is “no evidence of a struggle, any type of foul play, or that anyone else was in the room at any time during his stay.”
