‘Squad’ member and US House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spent yesterday sending out a couple of tweets encouraging Americans to learn “one enormous, major lesson” about “resistance” saying that it “was never really about a lack of money, or capacity, or logistics.” She followed that up with a list of four things that she believes “we can – guarantee healthcare, treat housing as a right, pursue decarceral policy, and prioritize humanitarian foreign policy.”
Let’s take this lesson and move it forward to push for a better world.

We CAN guarantee healthcare.
We CAN treat housing as a right.
We CAN pursue decarceral policy.
We CAN prioritize humanitarian foreign policy.
We can. We can. We can.
Pro-Trump activist Candace Owens tweeted a response tonight. In regards to the “resistance” tweet, Owens said that AOC “must have missed the part where this ‘resistance’ has just crashed our economy in the space of two weeks. This is not a socialist success story.”
You must have missed the part where this “resistance” has just crashed our economy in the space of two weeks.

This is not a socialist success story.
You cannot be this dense. https://t.co/F4YxkGEe0K
Socialism in Venezuela has created a bad situation right now with the Coronavirus and one activist from the country living in Canada shared a video earlier, saying, “here we see how the left wing regime of Maduro is fighting the #CoronaCrisis, no running water for millions.”

Owens mocked AOC’s follow-up tweet in a separate tweet of her own hitting on socialism again and listing a “we can” list of her own. She lists that “we can – destroy lives, crash the economy, and make people fight over toilet paper at the grocery story.”
YES @AOC:

WE CAN destroy lives.
WE CAN crash the economy.
WE CAN make people fight over toilet paper at the grocery story.
With socialism—we can, we can, we can, you absolute numbskull. https://t.co/EPGDQmxi8A
With Bernie Sanders’ nomination slipping away from him, AOC and the far left are getting more desperate attacking Joe Biden, while attempting to use the Coronavirus pandemic to permanently get their agenda implemented for a “fundamental change” to the economy.
We need fundamental change to an economy that leaves far too many working people behind. Join a teach-in with Bernie 2020 campaign staff and leadership on the coronavirus and the social safety net: https://t.co/wMoWQH9WsR
