Candace Owens Makes Her Cardi B Lawsuit Intentions Clear to Laura Ingraham: ‘It Was Not an Idle Threat’

We reported on Wednesday that conservative icon Candace Owens tweeted out that she planned to sue pop star Cardi B for allegedly making up lies about her and her brother using a photoshopped tweet to try to destroy her and her reputation.

Thursday, Owens appeared on Fox News’ Laura Ingraham and was asked about the threat, as Ingraham noted that Cardi B had scrubbed her Twitter account of the tweets, doing a “scrub-a-dub-dub.”

Owens insisted, “It was not an idle threat.”

“We are suing Cardi B. You will be able to watch this play out in the courtroom. It is unacceptable that any person would use doctored tweets to try and libel and slander my family members, my private family members, and think that I’m going to take that sitting down,” Owens continued.

Owens concluded, “By the time I am through with her, I think I will be an investor in WAP, Laura.”

Ingraham chuckled with excitement and said, “This is going to be good Candace, we’ll see how tough she really is” to which Owens responded, “Exactly.”

In a tweet on Thursday, Owens shared an article from The Daily Wire that noted the deleted tweets and said, “Gee. I wonder what made @iamcardib delete the photoshopped tweets regarding my husband and brother. Too late, degenerate. You mess with my family, I won’t stop until I’m the CEO and chairman of that WAP.”

Cardi B quote tweeted Owens and countered that “Actually I deleted all the tweets between us from the beginning because my platform is for fun and entertainment. The tweets between me & you was not entertaining anyone. It was getting boring. Get a life Candy it’s been two days.”

Owens then responded and shared an article from Snopes that rated the photoshopped tweet false and said, “You did not delete all of the tweets pertaining to me— you specifically deleted the ones in which you LIED about my family claiming you personally saw the tweet written from me on twitter while I was trending. Even Snopes called out your filthy lie.”

Although Cardi B told Owens to then forget about out, it appears last night, the rapper sent out a tweet referencing the deletions, unprovoked where she said, “Deleted the sh*t but is still SUCK MY D*CK ! DGAF !”
