CBS Reporter Bo Erickson, who has been assigned to follow Joe Biden’s 2020 Presidential Campaign, asked the Democratic nominee last night what his “response to the NY Post story” about his son was.
Biden responded by calling it a called it a “smear campaign” and then went after Erickson, saying, “I know you’d ask it. I have no response, it’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask.”
I asked Joe Biden: What is your response to the NYPost story about your son, sir?

Author John Pavolitz said, “If you had credibility you wouldn’t have asked it in the first place. No one cares, Bo. Do better next time.”

No one cares, Bo.
Do better next time.
“Rolling Stone purveyor of opinions” The Hoarse Whisperer called Erickson “a f*cking disgrace.”
You are a fucking disgrace.

Fellow CBS News reporter Paula Reid, however, came to Erickson’s defense, tweeting out against Biden’s criticism. “Biden adopts Trump playbook – attacking pool reporter Bo Erickson for asking about Hunter Biden story which has been a focus of President Trump’s campaign over past few days.”
Reid asked, “Fine to attack the story, but why personally insult Bo?” She then added that her “CBS Evening News report clearly lays out warnings about Giuliani & Russian disinformation. But we cannot normalize insulting reporters for asking questions:”
