Following the news that a Federal Judge lifted the airline mask mandate, Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany described how “cheers and clapping erupted” on her plane.
In a tweet, McEnany explained, “Just now the flight attendant on my plane announced ‘breaking news’ in confirming that we can take our masks off.”
“Cheers and clapping erupted,” McEnany reported.
McEnany then delivered a message to those who don’t support the lifting of the mandate as she added, “Best of luck being on the wrong side of this Biden administration, as you express ‘disappointment’ while America collectively cheers!”

One Twitter user responded to McEnany, “The masks don’t make sense anymore as a mandate. Anyone can still wear one by choice though.”

A video shared by the press secretary for U.S. Sen Dan Sullivan (R-AK), Ben Dietderich, showed passengers cheering after an announcement that they could take their masks off.
Deitderich shared the message in the tweet: “Ladies and gentlemen, this is your pilot speaking. This is the most important announcement I’ve ever made. The federal mask mandate is over. Take off your mask if you choose!”
“A wonderful moment mid flight on @alaskaair today!” Dietderich exclaimed.

Many on the left, specifically, are upset as United Airlines has also made masks optional and they have threatened to take their business elsewhere.
It remains to be seen if other airlines will follow suit and conceivably, some who didn’t want to wear masks may now travel to make up for those who boycott.
