Chicago Carjacker Killed After Woman Refuses to Give Up Her Vehicle and Runs Into a CTA Train Support Beam

It was recently reported that a Chicago carjacker was killed after the woman he, along with another woman, was attempting to carjack refused to give up her vehicle and ran into a CTA train support beam.

The crash occurred on Wednesday and according to one bystander, the vehicle was carjacked and the driver was “f*cked up.”

“When asked what he meant, he said the driver was partly sticking out of the windshield,” journalist Tyler Pasciak LaRiviere reported.

According to police, a man and woman jumped in the vehicle, there was a struggle, and the car hit the support beam.

Officials reported that three were pulled from the car and taken to hospitals following the accident with the man, Elijah Treadwell, 18, being pronounced dead there.

The women were stabilized at the hospital, officials said while police said that the woman who was with the deceased man was taken into custody with charges pending.

LaRiviere also reported that on the passenger side of the vehicle, there appeared to be three patched-up holes (possibly bullet holes).

Two of the holes were by the gas tank and one by the passenger door as LaRiviere also provided pictures of the holes.
