FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland have been relatively quiet about the FBI raid at Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago. Joe Biden’s people have denied any foreknowledge. The left simultaneously cheers and downplays it as “not a raid”.
Meanwhile, most Americans and many abroad want answers, and they want them fast. Wray recently spoke at a cybersecurity conference in Omaha, Nebraska. He had a chance to clear the air. He did speak to disavow alleged threats against law enforcement seen around the internet.
We at Media Right News also disavow any such threats at any time as well, including but not limited to threats from left-wing groups during other periods of unrest. However, that being out of the way, Wray declined to comment further on the raid, keeping the world in the dark on the scary situation unfolding.
AP reported on one of Wray’s quotes “I’m always concerned about threats to law enforcement,” the director said. “Violence against law enforcement is not the answer, no matter who you’re upset with.”
You can see the recent appearance below.
If the FBI and DOJ have something substantial up their sleeve, which we doubt, it may be good for a joint press conference soon. Regardless of whether or not they are in the right or think they are, something this public needs to be smoothed over to keep people from being so badly divided in our view.
AP also added in part:
Wray made the remarks following a news conference during a long-planned visit to the agency’s field office in Omaha, Nebraska, where he discussed the FBI’s focus on cybersecurity. He declined to answer questions about the hours-long search Monday by FBI agents of Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida resort.
One thing is for sure, the GOP seems to be uniting around Trump more than before as this news unfolds and a possible mid-term red wave may be approaching. We will be monitoring and staying tuned to this developing situation and other political news as things continue to unfold.
