Judge who Signed off on Mar-A-Lago Search Warrant Recused Himself in June from Trump Vs. Clinton Lawsuit

In March of this year, former President Donald Trump sued twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Trump also sued the DNC, Perkins Coie LLC, Michael Sussman, Marc Elias, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Charles Halliday Dolan Jr., Jakes Sullivan, John Podesta, Fusion GPS, Nellie Ohr, Bruce Ohr, Christopher Steele, Igor Danchenko, James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Andrew McCabe, and many others.

Hillary Clinton reportedly tried to kibosh the lawsuit with a 108-page document claiming the suit was without legal merit and has been viewed by many as just a publicity stunt.

Trump’s lawsuit claimed that Clinton and political allies were involved in a racketeering conspiracy to propagate false claims about Trump and Russia in connection with the 2016 presidential race.

The suit claimed that Clinton “and her cohorts… maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty… Falsifying evidence, deceiving law enforcement, and exploiting access to highly sensitive data sources… Conceived, coordinated and carried out by top-level officials at the Clinton Campaign and the DNC.”

Judge Bruce E. Reinhart was assigned to the case in April this year. Reinhart is also the same judge who signed the FBI’s sealed search warrant, granting them permission to search and seize items from Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago.

Reinhart oversaw the scheduling of a June 2 status conference and oversaw one of the scheduled conferences. He signed another order for a July 6th conference and by June 22nd Reinhart had canceled the conference and recused himself from the case.

Almost two months later, Reinhart believed he was fit to sign off on the FBI’s search warrant for Trump’s Mar-A-Lago home.

This revelation only brings more scrutiny to the entire process used by the FBI to raid the former president’s home. The search warrant remains under seal for now.

Trump’s team has told news outlets that they don’t know what probable cause was used to justify issuing a warrant. Many political figures have called for the unsealing of the warrant.

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) has called for a congressional investigation into the raid. Minority leader in the U.S. House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) responded to the revolution of the raid with, “Attorney General [Merrick] Garland, preserve your documents and clear your calendar.”

Even Democrat and former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo even scrutinized the process by tweeting, “DOJ must immediately explain the reason for its raid & it must be more than a search for inconsequential archives or it will be viewed as a political tactic and undermine any future credible investigation & legitimacy of January 6 investigations.”

The White House claims they were unaware that the raid was going to happen and found out like everyone else. President Biden left for his vacation to South Carolina on Wednesday with nothing to say about it.

As far as we are being told, the search warrant was issued over documents that were taken when Trump left the White House in January of 2021. Under the Presidential Records Act, some documents were to be turned over to the National Archives. Trump has said he was working with them to get the documents they needed back to them.

Speculation only continued to mount as the White House, FBI and DOJ remain silent on the matter. Read more:
