Chuck Grassley, U.S. Senator (R-IA), who is in his seventh term and a well respected seasoned politician didn’t mince words. As former Senate Judiciary Committee Chair, Grassley knows a lot about matters such as this.
He seems to imply he has heard from whistleblowers in the recent past who imply that political bias in investigations is very possible. Grassley recently tweeted and issued an official statement:
“Transparency brings accountability & if the FBI & DOJ aren’t transparent about raiding a former presidents home they risk further damaging their credibility I’ve already raised issues from whistleblowers abt political bias in investigations so we’ve got a right 2b skeptical”

Grassley also issued a statement shown on Fox News:
“If the FBI isn’t extraordinarily transparent about its justification for yesterday’s actions and committed to rooting out political bias that has infected their most sensitive investigations, they will have sealed their own fate”
Many on both sides are shocked by the FBI’s Mar-A-Lago raid, although some radical leftists have been cheering. It seems the political left is constantly out to get former President Trump as he potentially prepares to run for president in 2024.
Republicans, even some who are not the biggest historical Trump cheerleaders, are seemingly uniting around this shocking time. With Democrats looking bad in mid term election polls, this reeks of potential corruption in the eyes of the American people, although time will likely tell.
