In what can only be described as an epic gaffe that could affect turnout for the primary in Ohio tomorrow, CNN has reported that an Ohio judge approved a lawsuit to suspend the primary until June 2. CNN also tweeted that the Judge had granted the Governor’s request in delaying the primary, the mistake in the screenshot of the original tweet which has been deleted.

CNN has since corrected their story and put out a new tweet stating their error which can be seen below:

(Correction: An earlier tweet incorrectly said a court approved a request to reschedule Ohio's primary. It has been deleted)
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine (R) had filed a lawsuit to postpone tomorrow’s Ohio Primary Election to June 2 because of concerns over the Coronavirus. The judge actually rejected that lawsuit and says that voting must continue.

The primary will include the election of delegates for the Presidential Election for Democrats but also there are a handful of local elections that will include races for both parties.
This mistake will be sure to fuel those who refer to the network as “fake news” including President Trump who recently told Jim Acosta that his network was “That’s CNN, fake news” after Acosta said that some Americans think Trump isn’t taking the Coronavirus “seriously enough.”
