‘Communism vs Freedom’ MTG Applauds DeSantis’ Plan to Withhold Paychecks From School Officials Who Defy His Executive Order Against Mask Mandates

In a tweet today, U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) applauded a plan by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to withhold paychecks from school officials who defy his executive order against mask mandates, calling it a battle of “Communism vs freedom.”

Greene shared an Axios article reporting the news and explained, “(House Speaker) Nancy Pelosi is fining me for not wearing a mask in the chamber, but DeSantis is going to fine superintendents and school board members if they force children to wear masks. This is how it’s done.”

“Communism vs Freedom. Save America, Stop Communism!” Greene declared.

The Blaze’s Elijah Schaffer then asked Greene, “How much is the fine?”

Greene responded by sharing a picture of Pelosi with her mask down and said, “$500 the first fine and $2,500 for every time after that for refusing to wear a mask.”

“I still won’t wear a mask! Pelosi doesn’t wear a mask,” Greene insisted and added, “I’m suing Nancy Pelosi for her ridiculous authoritarian behavior.”

Schaffer replied, “I love you so much. Pelosi is a tyrant that spends too much money on ice cream I’m sure $2,500 doesn’t seem like a lot of money to someone who somehow has a net worth of $106 million dollars amassed while being a public servant Please keep us updated on this fight!”

Not long after, Schaffer tweeted out a March fact check on Pelosi’s net worth, which supposedly debunked how much she was worth.
