Controversy Erupts Over Whether Biden Said He’s Going to Be or Beat Himself in Potential Freudian Slip

The rough morning for presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden continued as he appeared this morning on CNBC’s Squawk Box and appeared to have a Freudian slip. He was asked by the host Joe Kernen if he was going to be progressive enough and if so, how would the less progressive potential voters feel.

The official CNBC transcript reads that he responded by saying, “I prepared to say that I have a record of over 40 years. And that I’m going to be Joe Biden.” Many on Twitter and the video shows that he potentially said, “I’m going to beat Joe Biden.”

“I’m prepared to say that I have a record over 40 years, and that I’m going to beat Joe Biden” He is right though. He’s helping defeat himself every time he speaks.

President Trump’s campaign manager Brad Parscale mocked the apparent gaffe by wondering, “now he thinks he is running against himself? He doesn’t even know who he is.”

Ahh.. now he thinks he is running against himself? He doesn’t even know who he is. What?

One popular Biden supporter hit back at Parscale, saying that he “has nothing left so he’s passing around a video of Joe Biden saying ‘I’m going to BE Joe Biden,’ claiming he really said ‘I’m going to beat Joe Biden.'” She believes that, “If you listen to the whole video it’s clear he said ‘BE.'”
