Country Music Singer Brad Paisley Catches Social Media Heat Following New Release Featuring Volodymyr Zelensky

Country singer Brad Paisley recently dropped a new song:

“On this one year anniversary of the invasion, I’m reminded of the ways we are all so similar. Here is the first song available from my new project. This is “Same Here”. Featuring Pres. Volodymyr Zelenskyy”

Well, many country fans on Twitter are not happy, and some it seems are happy. If you read through quote tweets and replies to Brad Paisley’s tweet announcing a collaboration with Ukrainian President Zelensky, many of the supportive tweets are from people who say they “don’t normally listen to this kind of music”.

This may lead one to believe they are promoting a cause over an actual singer or song. Exhibit A:

Exhibit B:

One apparent leftist admits that the song won’t go over well with Paisley’s fan base:

“I commend Brad Paisley for this. His normal target audience will most likely not be pleased with this song, but he still made it anyways. Kudos and hat off to you, Brad!”

Some of the more critical tweet replies or quote tweets:

“This isn’t a joke.. it’s real life. This is what happens when you marry a Hollywood Lib. Nerd.”

To be clear, and in our analysis, we don’t feel that most conservatives are not supporting the Ukrainian people. Many simply feel that the United States government is not prioritizing taxpayer dollars towards Americans first in our view.

Media Right News is simply reporting on the situation and does not necessarily agree or disagree with any tweets contained herein.

From WhiskeyRiff.com:

Paisley explained his reasoning behind the song:

“The song is grounded in observing life in the United States, then to people from other countries who speak different languages and to one across the ocean that’s at war. We start to realize how similar we all are.

That’s one of the things the President says in the song, ‘There is no distance between our two countries in such values.’ They are longing for what we as Americans have already. It’s heartbreaking watching this struggle in modern time for freedom and democracy and the ability to just simply be who they want to be in peace.

And this song is something that I hope resonates not only with my fans and people in America, but people anywhere that feel a similar desire to be free and safe and happy. Because I really do believe that as human beings when you take away the banners that determine what country we all live in, we all want the same things.”

Paisley has a history of getting political:
