This morning President Trump congratulated Marjorie Taylor Greene on her win in a run-off election in Georgia’s 14th congressional district in a Tweet. “Congratulations to future Republican Star Marjorie Taylor Greene on a big Congressional primary win in Georgia against a very tough and smart opponent. Marjorie is strong on everything and never gives up – a real WINNER!”

Greene has been a controversial candidate, one who really believes in America First and stand up for what she knows is right. Greene has been labeled a QAnon conspiracy theorist. Many believe she just holds to Trump’s agenda and putting America first.
Her unwillingness to play nice or soften her message has the Left and the Right coming after her. After she released a video on her thoughts on George Soros, she called him a Nazi, she also stated she believes black “are held slaves to the Democratic Party”. The video spurred a reaction from Capitol Hill Republicans. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy came out against Greene after that video. House Whip Steve Scalise then threw his support and money behind her challenger.
This didn’t stop Greene from garnering support from those outside of the “Swamp”. According to Roll Call Greene was “highlighted as a “priority candidate” on the website of the House Freedom Fund, which is connected to the hard-line conservative House Freedom Caucus. Since the runoff began, the fund has spent more than $14,000 on her behalf for email and telemarketing and “donation processing.” Drain the DC Swamp PAC has also spent more than $46,000 for digital, radio and TV ads supporting Greene.”
“A Florida-based group called Great America PAC the that was formed in late July spent $30,000 on a media buy opposing Greene in the days leading up to the election.” the Roll Call article states. It appears the Roll Call article miss spelled the name of the PAC it is “A Great America PAC” that spent the money to oppose Greene. This PAC is funded by The Cheney Group.
In her own words Greene tweeted, “The GOP establishment, the media, & the radical left, spent months & millions of dollars attacking me.
Tonight the people of Georgia stood up & said that we will not be intimidated or believe those lies
I’m excited to be the next Congresswoman of GA 14
God bless America”.

It looks like the brains behind “Drain the DC Swamp PAC” truly did achieve their mission and shocked all the creatures that live in the swamp to boot. Greene is likely to win the election in November, as she is in a red district, and then would join the members of the House. A voice of the people of Georgia’s District 14 that wasn’t silenced by the “Swamp”.
