Months ago, we reported a story on a woman running for Congress to take over Mark Meadow’s seat in North Carolina’s 11th district. At the time it almost appeared as though Meadows was all but ready to try and hand down the seat to Lynda Bennett.
Even President Trump endorsed her. But we reported on a leaked audio recording from years past where Bennett said that she was Never Trump. That article was read by tens of thousands of people and featured on mailers that went out in the area (not affiliated with Media Right News).
Well, it’s tough to say why for sure, but Bennett lost, despite her endorsement from Trump, and after we exposed her past audio condemning Donald Trump the person. Shockingly, 24-year-old Republican Madison Cawthorn beat Bennett in the primary by a landslide a few days ago.
This went against President Trump’s record of endorsing in primaries, in addition to another loss recently, wherein Virginia Trump-endorsed Republican Denver Riggleman was unseated by America First candidate Bob Good. Good will be the nominee in Virginia’s 5th CD against the Democrat in November now.
Apparently this pleased Katie Hill, a former congresswoman who had to step down after nude photos were released and rumors of a sexual affair with a staffer surfaced. Hill has stayed vocal on social media, even striking an odd friendship with Republican U.S. Rep Matt Gaetz (R) who strangely defended her after she was ousted.
Hill was glad to see Trump’s pick lose in the recent N.C. upset, and even went as far as to congratulate Cawthorn, but then quickly deleted the tweet before most people saw it. Media Right News was able to grab a screenshot though, and one can only speculate what is going on in Hill’s mind in the background. See tweet screenshot below:
Madison Cawthorn has a bright future, and if elected to the general election, will be even younger than Democrat AOC, and the youngest person elected to the U.S House. See his thank you video below:
