Democrats today threw tantrums and wiped away tears today on the House floor during the discussion on removing U.S. House Rep Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee.
U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed about Omar’s removal, “This is about targeting women of color in the United States of America!”

U.S. House Rep Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) was given time to speak to defend Omar and she went over her time while shouting in the front of the room.
Schakowsky said that as a Jew, she supported Omar and that she didn’t need Republicans to defend her.
U.S. House Rep Rashida Talib (D-MI) spoke prior to the rest of the time being yielded to Omar and she shed tears while defending her.
U.S. House Rep Cori Bush (D-MO) could also be seen behind Talib shedding tears as well.

Prior to the vote, Omar insisted, “My voice will get louder and stronger! My leadership will be celebrated around the world, as it has been!”

Ultimately, a voice vote was held and it was determined that Omar should be removed from the committee.
The “no” votes (Democrats) continued to emphasize the “no” longer than usual also.
