It was reported earlier that Antifa protesters burned an American flag outside the Colorado State Capitol building in Denver the inauguration of President Biden was underway in Washington, D.C.
The Post Millenial’s Andy Ngo shared a video in a tweet that started after the flag was on fire and said, “Man putting out fires on US flags near Capitol is assaulted by #antifa.”
In the video, you can hear protesters telling the man to “get the f*ck” out of there and calling him a white supremacist. Another one of the Antifa yelled “f*ck your flag.”
The man tries to put the fire out with some sort of shield but does not succeed and the video ends with the man being escorted away by the police as one of the Antifa yelled, “Get the f*ck out of here, you white supremacist.”

Ngo shared another video which showed police come in and extinguish the fires (it also appears they burned a Trump flag) as one of the Antifa yell, “That’s not your f*cking job pigs.”

Newsweek appeared to add that a possible justification for the actions was because President Trump contested the election and the Jan. 6 siege of the Capitol.
From Newsweek:
Multiple media outlets declared Biden the winner of the election on November 7, but former President Donald Trump did not concede the race. Instead, the legal team for his campaign posed challenges to the election results in several battleground states and continued to allege widespread voter fraud without evidence into the new year. Congressional lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have accused Trump of spurring on his supporters during a speech he delivered at a rally in Washington, D.C., the morning of the deadly January 6 riot.
