NewsMax gave an extensive report about Trump Advisor Jason Miller and his time on Mornings with Maria (Bartiromo) recently. It appears clear now that former President Donald Trump still has his sights on a potential comeback run in 2024, despite the second impeachment and everything else working against him.
He hasn’t made up his mind completely though and still plans on helping the GOP win back the U.S. House in 2022. Donald Trump likely wants to see things like election integrity measures implemented in all swing states, and restrictions of mass mail-in voting measures before he decides, in our speculation.
Although it’s hard to say for sure, it’s likely that loose voting regulations and mass mail-in campaigns plus ballot harvesting can favor Democrats. Some states like Idaho are pushing to ban ballot harvesting. Just today a bill advanced in that states’ legislature to do just that.
It will be harder to do so in many swing states where Democrats are gaining more power in the legislatures, not to mention soft, often anti-Trump Republicans.
According to NewsMax:
Miller added that he hopes Trump seeks election in 2024 but said no decision has yet been made.
“I think the president is going to be involved in making sure we win back the House and Senate in 2022,” he said. “We saw abuses in the last election and we have to get it cleaned up but President Trump will stay active. I think it’s going to take a little bit of rest and relaxation at Mar-a-Lago but we will see him right back at it shortly.”
The way we see if, if Donald Trump was not considering running again, he definitely would have said so. Nevertheless, he is smart to wait and watch for the time being. Many on the right would like to see him drop influences from people like his son-in-law Jared Kushner and listen more to the likes of Steven Miller, former Senior Advisor to President Trump, instead.
Kusher reportedly tends to lean more left and some people think he often talks President Trump out of doing things his base wants. Miller, on the other hand, is a combative immigration hardliner who has stuck by Trump’s side while many more have come and gone.
Meanwhile, Jason, the other Miller has bashed the idea of the second Trump impeachment which kicked off today, saying in so many words that it’s an effort to stop a Trump 2024 run.
GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel has said she will not endorse anyone yet for the GOP’s 2024 presidential candidate. Meanwhile, there has been speculation others may run, the latest potentially being Candace Owens, although she hasn’t officially announced for 2024. Former President Trump is also likely waiting to see what happens with the final outcome of this so-called second impeachment of a president who is no longer in office currently going on in the U.S. Senate.
Trump has indeed been relaxing, as he was banned from many social media outlets, giving him more time to catch his breath, play some golf, and hopefully spend time with his wife, kids, and grandkids at Mar-a-Lago.
Rumors abound that he may start his own social media platform if he doesn’t join another one like “Gab”, but it’s hard to say yet what will come of that. Time will tell how it all plays out and we’ll bring you as many important Donald Trump updates as we can if you stay tuned to Media Right News.
