In a Truth Social post today, former President and 2024 GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump shared a comedic meme showing him in the Speaker chair during a Joe Biden State of the Union address.
The meme showed Biden speaking in front with Kamala Harris seated next to Trump, who was sticking his tongue out behind Biden.
The Truth Social post came after U.S. House Rep Matt Gaetz (R-FL) voted for Trump to be the Speaker of the House in two rounds of voting today.
Gaetz has since switched his vote to U.S. House Rep Kevin Hern (R-OK), but the vote for Trump caused him to trend on Twitter.
Trump-supporting rapper Forgiato Blow called Gaetz “a legend” for his vote for Trump for the Speakership.

As we previously reported, Trump weighed in on the Speaker process in a Truth Social post last night.
“I actually think that a big Republican VICTORY today, after going through numerous Roll Calls that failed to produce a Speaker of the House, has made the position & process of getting to be Speaker BIGGER & MORE IMPORTANT than if it were done in the more traditional way, much like me again becoming President after having won big in 2016, gotten many Millions of MORE VOTES in 2020 but ‘supposedly’ not winning (BIG LIE!), & then winning again in 2024. It will be BIGGER than the traditional way!” Trump declared.
The vote for Speaker is now entering the 11th round as nominations are underway.
