In a Truth Social post today, the 45th President Donald Trump ripped D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser for illegal immigrant hypocrisy as she has begged for National Guard help.
Trump declared, “The Mayor of Washington, D.C., wants the National Guard to help with the thousands of Illegal Immigrants, coming from the insane Open Border, that are flooding the City, but refused National Guard help when it came to providing Security at the Capitol Building for a far larger crowd on January 6th.”
“Figure that one out?” Trump questioned.
Bowser is now getting it from both sides as it was reported that protesters demanded answers after she put in the request for help.
In two separate letters sent to The White House and the Pentagon, Bowser described the situation as a humanitarian crisis that has reached its tipping point.
One protester reportedly said, “The situation is here, and it is coming, people are staying in D.C. It is a D.C. issue, it is not just a federal issue.”
“We are either going to welcome people with dignity and respect or we’re going to pass trauma down line,” they added.
Another was able to actually confront Bowser and said of the encounter, “So I started asking her, ‘Why won’t you provide aide to these people? Why won’t you provide, try sanctuary to these people? Why won’t you greet people with dignity our city could do this? Why won’t you?'”
Trump recently called on Bowser and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to testify in front of the House Jan. 6 Select Committee in regards to their role on that day in a Truth Social post.
“Why aren’t the Unselects asking Nancy Pelosi and the Mayor of D.C. to testify as to why they turned down my recommendation on January 3rd of 10,000 to 20,000 troops to stand guard at the Capitol Building on January 6th,” Trump wondered.
