ECHO CHAMBER: AOC Implies to Don Lemon Republicans Who Don’t Want Their White Children Taught They are Racist Must be Racist

We all know that CNN’s Don Lemon is an opinion host, whether he admits it or not. It’s safe to say that Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson are also opinion news commentators as well. But Lemon tries to claim he just does straight news.

Most are also already aware that U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is one who likes to sensationalize. Both parties have capitalized on solid blue or solid red districts where politicians can be more outspoken and throw more “red meat” to their base. AOC really takes the cake here. Although in our title we aren’t quoting her exact words, it’s pretty darn close to what she is saying, in our view.

Many Republicans have been pushing back on Critical Race Theory or “CRT”. Some schools have even tried sneaking in CRT where it’s banned by calling it something else, or changing it around a little bit, according to reports from some parents on the ground, and politicians like Idaho State Rep Priscilla Giddings. Giddings has been pushing back against CRT in Idaho and running for Lieutenant Governor there as well.

“We should say, why don’t you want our schools to teach ‘anti-racism’? Why don’t Republicans want their kids to know the tradition of anti-racism in the United States? Why are Republicans trying to ban books in this country? Why are Republicans trying to ban speech? Why are they trying to fire certain professors?”

She continues on with the apparently gaslighting: “why are they attacking the core roots of history in this country that strays anything beyond anything we know? In fact, you have folks like Kevin McCarthy making statements that sound like he’s never even read Martin Luther King in his life, trying to ban books that actually talk about the history of the civil rights movement and institutional racism in the United States.”

She goes on, “so why don’t Republicans want us to learn how to not be racist? Why don’t Republicans want kids to know how to not be racist? That is the question that eliminates this.” Don Lemon jumps in and says “well they’re saying it’s too young…” and that’s where the video ends.

Most likely Lemon was trying to play the other side while ultimately ending up agreeing with AOC in the end anyway. Watch:

It’s funny to us and it seems like gaslighting because it’s mostly the left who is (in our opinion) censoring conservatives, banning things like Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben, Washington Redskins, and Cleveland Indians, and removing historical monuments that offend them. Sadly, even Republicans have joined with the left such as Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who she mentioned earlier ironically, in removing monuments.

This goes to show that there is never any appeasing the radical left.

It feels like AOC is taking a book out of Saul Alinsky’s rules for radicals and accusing the other side of that which she is guilty of.
