Tesla and Twitter owner Elon Musk is cracking down on left-wing lunatics who don’t think the rules of being nice should apply to them. While Twitter is being touted as having more free speech than before, to appease advertisers, Musk has had to keep some basic guidelines in place.
Now, however, these guidelines will not be as one-sided and will consider context much more than the old Twitter, ran poorly by Parag Agrawal, and Jack Dorsey before him. A man on Twitter claimed he was being targeted with the word “cis” for simply being heterosexual. Musk caught wind of the situation and clarified things. James Esses tweeted:
“Yesterday, after posting a Tweet saying that I reject the word ‘cis’ and don’t wish to be called it, I receive a slew of messages from trans activists calling me “cissy” and telling me that I am ‘cis’ “whether or not I like it”. Just imagine if the roles were reversed.”
Musk responded to most left winger’s dismay:
“Repeated, targeted harassment against any account will cause the harassing accounts to receive, at minimum, temporary suspensions. The words “cis” or “cisgender” are considered slurs on this platform.”

Yup, the contemptible creep that manufactured the term “cis” has serious problems. Ignore him.

One person responded thankfully, and Musk added:
“Yup, the contemptible creep that manufactured the term “cis” has serious problems. Ignore him.”
While Democrat Mark Zuckerberg reportedly wants to make a new Twitter competitor called “threads”, it’s clear he won’t be able to replace them with his copycat idea. Zuckerberg may be rich and successful but he clearly wants to be cool with his attempts to smoke meat and be like Elon Musk in our view.
It’s hard to say if Facebook and Instagram will copy the ban on using “cis” as a slur or not, however, that may not go over well with Zuckerberg’s advertisers and critics, who he seems to allow to run the show.
Even with the new Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino in the mix, Musk is still taking an active role and tweeting often. That doesn’t look like it will change anytime soon.
