We don’t want to make any assumptions. But it does seem like Tesla and Twitter boss Elon Musk is being sarcastic with his apology for firing someone. Recently a Twitter employee “corrected” Elon Musk on Twitter.
Some suggested to him that he do that privately, whether he’s right or not. Eric Frohnhoefer didn’t take the advice.
Elon Musk said “he’s fired” in another tweet shortly after someone brought it to his attention. Musk later “apologized” but it was likely sarcasm.
Many major social media companies have had to lay off due to the possibility of recession. Musk simply has done it in a different way than others such as Meta.
“I would like to apologize for firing these geniuses. Their immense talent will no doubt be of great use elsewhere.”
“Ligma & Johnson are welcome back anytime” he said however, in reference to fake Twitter employees who pulled a prank to fool journalists a couple weeks ago.
See more on that:
Many may think Musk’s tactics are cruel. Those unfairly banned by Twitter in the past may not have much sympathy on our prognostication.
