The world’s richest man and Tesla CEO Elon Musk fired back at Joe Biden yesterday by claiming that he’s “Treating the American public like fools.”
It appeared that Biden took an initial shot at Musk after he tweeted a video on Wednesday about electric vehicles.
Biden said in the tweet, “I meant it when I said the future was going to be made right here in America. Companies like GM and Ford are building more electric vehicles here at home than ever before.”
Tesla, of course, has produced and sold the most electric vehicles in the United States.
Kim Paquette quote tweeted Biden’s video tweet and stated, “Honestly how does he say this with a straight face.”
“Shame on you President Biden for trying to cancel a great American company and rewrite EV history,” Paquette continued.
Paquette then brought the situation to Musk’s attention by concluding, “No one is buying this. What an embarrassment for the United States. @elonmusk#Tesla“

Following the statement by Musk, U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) declared that he, has a “better understanding of freedom” than Joe Biden.
