Elon Musk Gets Last Laugh As MSNBC Host Who Complained About ‘Blue-Check MAGA Trolls’ Has His Reinstated By Twitter

After complaining about “Blue-check MAGA trolls,” MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan has had his reinstated by Twitter.

Hasan reacted angrily to the reinstatement of his “Blue-check” and questioned the legality behind the move.

In a tweet, Hasan asked, “Erm, why do I have a blue check again @Twitter @TwitterSupport?”

“I. Did. Not. Pay. For. Twitter. Blue,” Hasan insisted.

Hasan then shared a screenshot of his account in a reply and wondered, “Twitter lawyers, how is this legally okay? Isn’t this false advertising or something? This is literally a lie.”

In a quote tweet of Hasan’s reply journalist Aaron Rupar provided backup as he claimed, “It really is sleazy at best that Twitter is lying about journalists/celebrities subscribing to their product when they, you know, haven’t.”

As we previously reported, Hasan complained in a tweet that he’s only able to see replies or mentions from “blue-check MAGA trolls” on Elon Musk’s Twitter.

The tweet from Hasan came after he received a community note that offered context to a clip that he shared recently in a tweet.

Hasan kvetched, “This site is becoming more unusable by the day. Can’t see replies or mentions from people I follow, or normal folks, as it’s all full of blue-check MAGA trolls.”

“Old Twitter was occasionally toxic but usable. New Twitter is often toxic *and* unusable. Good job Elon (!),” Hasan declared.

  1. What is so pathetic is little trolls like hasan actually think they are right. Miserable little people. Full of hate and anger. Like four year old toddlers.
