Elon Musk Interrupts ‘Journalist’ Pity Party to Deliver Bad News, Tells Them ‘You’re Not Special’

Elon Musk made it clear last night that he will give no quarter to those who are attempting to dox others after his son was involved in a scary situation on Wednesday.

Musk suspended the accounts of several “journalists” as well as a jet tracking account and said that it was due to doxxing.

Some of the suspended accounts, however, were able to get around the suspension by joining a Twitter Space to discuss the suspension.

After word of what was taking place started to spread throughout Twitter, Musk himself joined the space and was given the opportunity to speak.

When asked about the suspensions, Musk explained, “Everyone is going to be treated the same. You’re not special because you are a journalist. You are a citizen. You doxx, you get suspended, end of story.”

As we reported last night, Musk suspended the accounts of reporters from CNN, New York Times, and Washington Post from Twitter.

In response to one tweet, Musk said, “Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not.”

Musk also suspended Keith Olbermann and Aaron Rupar and he addressed their suspensions in a pair of responses to other tweets.

In regard to Olbermann, Musk quipped, “7 day suspension for doxxing. Some time away from Twitter is good for the soul …”

As for Rupar, Twitter user Conservative Momma suggested that “Every ‘journalist’ crying about (Rupar) being suspended for doxxing Elon, should tweet out their own home address. I mean if its no big deal…”

Musk replied, “Exactly.”
