Elon Musk Reiterates Twitter’s New Mission After Rescuing the Company from Near Bankruptcy, says it will not Impose ‘its own Specific Values on the World’

Tesla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk has reportedly been working seven days a week. Despite having multiple companies already, it seems that buying Twitter in particular may have been the straw to nearly break the camel’s back.

Musk has recently mentioned the toughness of his workload and there has been much speculation about whether or not he can handle it. Although Musk previously hinted at hiring someone else to run the day to day at Twitter, he has not publicly done so as of yet.

Although the censorship problem over at Twitter has improved, it hasn’t gone away completely. Many are unsure if Musk is too busy to manage potential rogue employees still banning free speech from accounts that have been on Twitter a long time, such reporter as Andy Ngo.

Twitter has definitely improved for many however, and the conversation is much different then it was under Parag Agrawal or even Jack Dorsey. Some leftists have been angry meanwhile, that they now have to compete with formerly censored voices as no alternative left wing platform has been able to be the new Twitter just yet.

Musk recently reiterated his stance despite the imperfections:

“Going forward, Twitter will be broadly accepting of different values, rather than trying to impose its own specific values on the world”

It still seems unclear if permanent bans are going away or not. Only time will tell how Twitter ends up under Musk, who tries to please both sides and sometimes ends up pleasing neither.
