Last night, Tesla CEO and possible future Twitter owner Elon Musk took a swipe at Bill Gates. This image may be disturbing to politically correct folks. In our view, he is mocking former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates’ weight.

So apparently Bill Gates hit up @elonmusk to discuss “philanthropy on climate change” but Elon asked if he still had a half billion dollar short position on $TSLA.

Bill said he hasn’t closed it out, so Elon told him to get lost. No idea if this is true lol pic.twitter.com/iuHkDG3bAd
It appears Musk is unhappy with the mega landowner Bill Gates for taking a short position against Tesla in the stock market. A user posted screenshots of text messages between Gates and Musk – allegedly. Normally we might take something like that with a grain of salt.
But Musk himself appears to have confirmed the legitimacy of the screenshots after the Twitter user asked him “is this real?”
“Yeah, but I didn’t leak it to NYT. They must have got it through friends of friends. I heard from multiple people at TED that Gates still had half billion short against Tesla, which is why I asked him, so it’s not exactly top secret.”

Musk also took a swipe at Twitter’s current leadership, despite the fact that he himself may be the owner soon.
He appears to acknowledge that his meme with Bill Gates in it may not be “politically correct” and that the “shadow ban council” (we understand Twitter may claim this doesn’t exist) will be reviewing his tweet. He is of course kidding, although many have indeed been censored by Twitter for arbitrary reasons without ever being given a specific violation.

We will see if Gates or the current Twitter leadership have anything to say. Meanwhile, many await a possible tender offer from Musk to buy Twitter next week possibly.
