Elon Musk today waded into the gender discussion in response to a tweet by Matt Taibbi, who was responding to blowback he had received for a review of Matt Walsh’s “What is a Woman?” movie.
Taibbi shared a substack he had written and said in the tweet, “I wonder if we’re institutionalizing stereotypes about gender in the same way academics have tried to institutionalize stereotypes about how ‘hard work,’ ‘being polite,’ ‘punctuality’ and the ‘written word’ are ‘white culture.'”
Musk responded to Taibbi, “We are simultaneously being told that gender differences do not exist and that genders are so profoundly different that irreversible surgery is the only option.”
“Perhaps someone wiser than me can explain this dichotomy,” Musk wondered.
A little over an hour later, Musk then added in a reply to his original response, “It is a better world if we are all less judgy.”

Author and podcaster Bret Weinstein attempted to explain the situation to Musk as he told him in a reply that he believes, “Sophistry is the missing concept.”
“In trying to explain the logical failures, we inadvertently accept that we are obligated to articulate a critique,” Weinstein continued.
Weinstein explained, “That’s how the burden of proof gets inverted and power gets fused to transparent falseness and self inconsistency.”
