Portland, Oregon has been beset by nightly protests since the death of George Floyd while in the custody of Minneapolis, Minnesota police and has long been known as an Antifa stronghold.
Today, a Twitter user, Greg, was visiting a Mod pizza restaurant in the city and noticed that one of the employees was wearing a face mask that said “ACAB” which means, “All Cops Are Bastards.”
He shared the picture on Twitter and tagged the restaurant, asking, “How is this acceptable?” He shared the address and phone number of the restaurant where he saw the mask at.

The restaurant issued a response to the tweet, saying “Hey Greg! Thanks for alerting us. Please know that the message on this mask does not portray the views of MOD Pizza. We’ve reviewed the dress code with store employees & reaffirmed that this is unacceptable.”
“Everyone is welcome at MOD, including our brave first responders and law enforcement officers,” they added in an additional tweet. They have no yet responded to inquiries on if the employee was disciplined or fired.

The most recent tweet by Mod Pizza on their Twitter shows that they are a part of the growing corporate outreach efforts to get out the vote ahead of the November election.
According to “Mod the Vote” they “believe everyone has a right to be heard. And using your voice at the polls is one of the most powerful ways to create the future you want to see.”
They are partnering with with “Rock the Vote” to make “it easy to tap into the resources you need to be ready for the upcoming election season.”
