Entitled elites who refused to pay Elon Musk’s $7.99 to be verified on the formerly cash hemorrhaging website Twitter began to lose their blue check marks today.
It’s unclear thus far if it all happened at once, or if they’re slowing coming off throughout the day. Many prominent accounts claimed they would never pay, and they probably didn’t think Musk was serious.
“ALX” and others on Twitter are doing a solid job documenting some of the most notable blue check losses in real time. Liberal and anti Musk, anti-Trump folk “hero” Bill Gates and twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton have lost their verified statuses on Twitter.

Ryan Fournier tweeted:
“BREAKING: Hillary Clinton is NO LONGER Verified on Twitter. God Bless! 🤣👏 “
Even former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey won’t pay:
Surprisingly, even former President Trump has lost his check mark, because he has been using Truth Social and has a little friendly feud with Elon Musk. I predict he’ll eventually come around, but only time will tell.

Liberal basketball player Lebron James said he would not pay Musk. So far his blue check is there still however. Either it hasn’t fallen off yet, or he ended up paying after all, and we’re not sure which one it is yet.
Many Musk haters can easily afford to skip one cup of their beloved Starbucks and buy a blue check. They’re mad that Musk won’t censor Republicans more likely, and this is the real story in our view.

What appears to be U.S. House Rep. Ted Lieu’s (D-CA) account joins the list. The person in charge of the below unverified account said:
“Since Twitter no longer verifies users, how do you know this account is from me? Because every now and then I will write a high-quality tweet about the Browns. Like this: “I’m pleased the Browns’ 20 year rebuilding plan may show signs of progress this year.” Also, Trump lost.”
