Fellow Teammate of Damar Hamlin Says he is Now Awake and Showing More Signs of Improvement

Buffalo Bills cornerback Kaiir Elam just posted the latest update on Damar Hamlin. Hamlin is now actually officially awake, although he still has a long road to recovery it appears.

This comes after earlier reports that he is neurologically intact.

Many were concerned about Hamlin’s brain after the sudden cardiac arrest he experienced on the field recently. It took almost 10 minutes to get his heart going after that. Elam tweets:
