Foo Fighters Drummer Taylor Hawkins Died with 10 Psychoactive Substances in his Body, According to Toxicology Report

Local prosecutors said on Saturday that toxicological tests preliminarily found 10 psychoactive substances and medicines in Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins’ urine following his death on Friday.

Those substances included marijuana, opioids, tricyclic antidepressants, and benzodiazepines.

Local media reported that investigators concluded the rocker suffered “cardiovascular collapse” after overdosing on heroin and a cocktail of other substances.

Additionally, forensic experts are said to have discovered Hawkins’ heart weighed “at least 600 grams” – double the average for a man his age.

According to another report, Hawkins vowed to take care of himself in a chilling message the night before he was found dead at a hotel in Colombia.

The group had been slated to headline Lollapalooza Brasil yesterday, but Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his bandmates made an emotional return to Los Angeles after the tragic death.
