Fox News has issued a cease and desist letter to Tucker Carlson. This comes after he has started to release his new show “Tucker on Twitter”.
So far, Carlson has released two episodes that garnered almost 170 million views combined, in less than a week of being put out.
Carlson was abruptly taken off air in April shortly after Fox News reached a settlement with Dominion. Many reports have claimed that Carlson’s removal from the air was part of the settlement, but Dominion has disputed these reports.
Axios broke the news and reported that the letter has “NOT FOR PUBLICATION” in bold at the top.
Carlson is still under contract with Fox News and the contract is set to expire December 31st, 2024.
Carlson’s executive producer Justin Wells shared on Twitter that the third installment of “Tucker on Twitter” would address the indictment of President Donald Trump.

One of Carlson’s lawyers Harmeet Dhillon had strong words for Fox News. She told Axios in a statement:
Fox News continues to ignore the interests of its viewers, not to mention its shareholder obligations. Doubling down on the most catastrophic programming decision in the history of the cable news industry, Fox is now demanding that Tucker Carlson be silent until after the 2024 election. Tucker will not be silenced by anyone … He is a singularly important voice on matters of public interest in our country, and will remain so.
The drama seems to continue after Fox News removed Carlson from the air, and we will see what resolutions are reached in the future.
